To dry washing, close the door of a small room, place the airer in the middle and set the target humidity to about 40%. The machine stops itself when it reaches the level, and the display shows the figure falling as the clothes dry. Two or three loads will usually be dry over a day in a small room, and very thick items take noticeably longer, so turn them over.
In a living room or hallway, set the target to 50-55% and let the machine cycle. For a bedroom, use the sleep mode, which quietens the fan a fair bit, and run the machine before bed, then let it switch off at the target level.
Remove the tank carefully when it is full. Line it up with the grooves, hold it at an angle and slide it in; the water fills close to the top, so carry it level to avoid spilling. If the display shows FL, the tank is full and the machine has paused until you empty it.
Leave at least 20 cm of free space around the grille so the airflow is not restricted, and keep the unit on a level floor. For damp walls and condensation, put it in the dampest room with the door closed and open a window briefly once a day.
Wash the dust filter under the tap every few weeks and let it dry before refitting. Like every compressor unit, the NETTA loses efficiency as the room cools, so for a cold garage or outbuilding choose a desiccant model such as the EcoAir DD3 Classic MK3.
